captainamericawintersoldierMarvel Studios is looking to monopolize theaters with their “Phase 2” of films — or at least that’s how it feels like — not that I’m complaining. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a year away from release, but that doesn’t mean information and official photos won’t start circulating around.

Speaking of official photos, Marvel released one of Chris Evans striking a hero pose with the Captain America shield strapped on his back. Curiously enough, despite his suspicions of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s dubious nature, he’s in their building.

Everyone’s favorite hero — well, maybe except for Tony Stark — Steve Rogers works with S.H.I.E.L.D. agents against a new threat. Here’s the premise!

“Captain America: The Winter Soldier will pick-up where Marvel’s The Avengers left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.”

Steve Rogers proves he’s not too old on April 4, 2014 in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
