Seven years ago WB and DC tried to get a Justice League movie into production. It went as far as casting the parts of Batman, Wonder Woman and the Flash. But as we can all tell, the film didn’t pan out.
So it’s no surprise that once Marvel kicked things heavily into gear for The Avengers that WB would have another try at bringing their superhero team on the big screen. In fact, WB anticipated the success of The Avengers and hired Will Beall to write the Justice League screenplay.
I was hesitant to write about the speculation a lot of fans are having about Marvel Studios’ direction with a character in their films — but hell, I’ll throw a little fuel on the fire as well.
If you haven’t watched The Avengers yet, (who in this world hasn’t seen it yet?) definitely do not read . But if you have, this is a rumor that could end up true, so read on if your curiosity is too strong.

There’s no slowing down Marvel Studios. Filming for Iron Man 3 is underway, with snippets of information and photos making their way online. Directed by Shane Black, the third movie follows Tony Stark’s narcissistic good times after the events in The Avengers.
The Dark Knight Rises co-writer David Goyer recently said in an interview that Bane wasn’t the first choice for villain in the third installment. In fact, the studio wanted Leonardo DiCaprio to portray the Riddler.
So not only did The Avengers dominate the box office worldwide since its release, but Disney and Marvel intend to take it one step further. They will transfer their film to NASA to uplink to the International Space Station for six cosmonauts currently in orbit.
Filming for director Shane Black’s Iron Man 3 has begun, and curiously enough, someone has snapped a picture of a new armor in the movie.
It looks very Captain America-like, huh?
