Warner Bros. showed off footage from Green Lantern at WonderCon, and what can I say? It shows a different tone from the prior trailers, which seemed to rely on humor. The new footage focuses on the scope of the impending danger, the Green Lantern Corps. and Hal Jordan’s induction.
I gotta admit: I’m now stoked for Green Lantern.
The film comes out June 17, 2011.
I think this movie looks really fun even if it wasn’t the best. I have a feeling the story could be executed poorly. It’d still retain an interesting charm by this footage. Really tho, I want to see Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. Hopefully, he’ll pull off Green Lantern well as a pretty man then pull off Wade Wilson as a funny but marred man. He’s had enough movies looking nice for the ladies.
