Comic-Con attendees fully supported the film and spread word on District 9, which Blomkamp said he’s incredibly thankful for. As he put it, “Comic-Con was good to me”.

The panel for The Expendables 2 opened with Sylvester Stallone, who hit the stage with the audience chanting “Rocky”. It’s fitting for Stallone, who made a great impact with his first visit to Comic-Con a couple of years ago.

A viral video for the Robocop remake has surfaced online. So obviously any fan of the original should give it a look. It’s more or less a commercial for Omnicorp, showcasing some of their military weaponry; including ED-209. If the viral video is any indication, the satire and commercials will make an appearance in the remake.

Robocop is scheduled for release summer 2013.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

Photos surfaced online of George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road, proving that production really is moving forward.
