The other day, Ryan Reynolds had a mock interview with Extra’s Mario Lopez about Deadpool. Fans of the comics – including Reynolds himself – sorely wanted an R-rated movie. Deadpool, after all, has gratuitous violence and inappropriate humor. Great, inappropriate meta-humor.
The past couple weeks have went by fast and before I knew it, it’s the first of April. Usually I have a silly post that only my friends would find funny, but I can’t help myself from sharing with the class. This time I had nothing written. This time the fool is me.
Marvel Studios was really on something with their cinematic universe; other franchises started to follow its lead. Unfortunately, the next one is Transformers.
We’re all looking forward to our favorite superheroes teaming up again to face another threat in The Avengers: Age of Ultron. And besides a different villain, there’s two wild cards that are entering the fray: Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. To settle some curiosity – just a little – a little video was released, introducing these characters.

It’s still unbelievable that Deadpool is getting a film adaptation – especially after the terrible fiasco for the character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. But here we are. And Ryan Reynolds is reprising the role. And he recently tweeted a photo of himself as Deadpool.
If there’s one thing that Game of Thrones is good at, its ending a season on a cliffhanger. Well, that and killing off characters. And good acting. And good writing. And, and, and.
