  • Battle-Worn Tony Stark in Iron Man 3

    ironman3stillYou would think that after Tony Stark drove off into the sunset with his new best-friend-forever Bruce Banner in The Avengers, that he’d have a cushy life for at least a year or something or another. Based on the trailer and nearly all the production stills we’ve seen so far, it isn’t the case at all. It looks more like Stark is going through complete hell. It’s a given when he’s an arrogant hero, who made friends with a guy whose bad temper flattens cities. But as Robert Downey Jr. said: Stark had Banner promptly deported.

  • Hugh Jackman Will Return in X-Men: Days of Future Past

    Not long ago there was a rumor circulating that Hugh Jackman would play Wolverine in Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past. It didn’t take very long to become fact. Today, Jackman took to Twitter to reveal that he’s doing more than just a quick cameo like he had in First Class.

  • Iron Man 3 on Location in China

    ironmanwangxueqiProduction for Marvel’s Iron Man 3 was underway earlier this week in China. To publicize the moment, a photo was taken of Iron Man and actor Wang Xueqi, who plays Dr. Wu in the movie. It’s a bit odd seeing the armor that took a beating from Thor and the Helicarrier, since Tony Stark is all about constant progression. But who knows? Aside from anyone involved in the film, of course.

  • Dylan McDermott Cast in Stephen King’s Mercy

    dylanmcdermottI didn’t realize what I was missing until I finally watched American Horror Story recently. And by “watched” I mean I binged through the first season in one night. It was twisted, captivating, and of course, horrific. Actor Dylan McDermott displayed acting skills and a look that fit perfectly in the horror genre — how many times can I say “horror”?

    I’ve been very curious on Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim since it first came to light. The man is known for his keen eye for visuals, so the thought of an epic monster vs. mech live-action movie piques a lot of interest.

  • The Fallen: A Halo Fan Film Teaser

    A teaser for the Halo fan film entitled The Fallen is making rounds online. Vertical Horizon Pictures is hard at work in post-production, but you can already see the hard work being put into the project.

    I’m very interested to see the final product — not to mention, two of my friends are acting in it.

    Yesterday the trailer for Disney’s The Lone Ranger released online. It stars Armie Hammer, who I enjoyed in The Social Network, and Johnny Depp, who I enjoyed in — well, anything but a Tim Burton directed movie.

    To make this as concise as possibly: watch the trailer. The film looks immensely fun.
