Actor Dylan McDermott has been keeping busy after the success of American Horror Story. He was cast in the starring role for indie thriller, Freezer. Mikael Salomon of HBO’s Band of Brothers will direct.
As for the plot itself? McDermott will portray a man who is kidnapped and held in an industrial freezer by Russian thugs, who demand he returns $8 million that he stole. Seems simple enough, right? Except for the fact that he doesn’t know what they’re talking about.
If anyone can play a man who isn’t sure what’s going on and trying to understand the dire situation he’s in, it’s McDermott. He’s more than proved that with American Horror Story. Now I only hope he attempts a psychological examination of his captors.
