    The trailer for the remake of Judge Dredd has made its way online. This time out, the movie is simply entitled Dredd. It stars Karl Urban as Judge Dredd, Olivia Thirlby as Cassandra Anderson, and Lena Headey as the villainous Ma-Ma.

  • Hans Zimmer Will Compose for Man of Steel

    In the past Hans Zimmer was asked if he would score the Superman reboot entitled Man of Steel. With Christopher Nolan as the producer, it was safe to assume that Zimmer would compose, right? But then again, Zack Snyder is the one directing. So it wasn’t too surprising when Zimmer initially said he won’t score the movie.

  • The Dark Knight Rises Trailer Presented by Nokia

    It’s funny that in retrospect I didn’t have much excitement for The Dark Knight Rises. The first images and trailers didn’t strike a chord with me like The Dark Knight did. It didn’t seem like there was much progression in the story and aesthetics.

  • The Almost Easter Egg in The Avengers and The Amazing Spider-Man

    Despite being Marvel characters, the film rights to The Avengers and The Amazing Spider-Man belong to opposing movie studios. So unfortunately we never had Spider-Man gracing the big screen with the other superheroes. But news broke out that the film studios were planning to acknowledge each others’ movies.

  • Poster, Photos and Info on Judge Dredd

    We’re getting closer to the release of Judge Dredd, which means more photos circulating for the remake. Yes, there was a film loosely based on the comic years ago starring Sylvester Stallone; yes it was a very cheesy but fun movie, but it barely took things from the source material.

    The remake stars Karl Urban as Judge Dredd and co-stars Olivia Thirlby as rookie cop Cassandra Anderson, with Lena Headey as the antagonist, Ma-Ma.

    Actor Lucas Till, who portrayed Alex Summers (Havok) in X-Men: First Class sat down and talked about his character and things he wants in the sequel that is in the works. A major thing he wants? The inclusion of a particular love interest for Havok.

  • Justice League Movie in the Works

    Seven years ago WB and DC tried to get a Justice League movie into production. It went as far as casting the parts of Batman, Wonder Woman and the Flash. But as we can all tell, the film didn’t pan out.

    So it’s no surprise that once Marvel kicked things heavily into gear for The Avengers that WB would have another try at bringing their superhero team on the big screen. In fact, WB anticipated the success of The Avengers and hired Will Beall to write the Justice League screenplay.
