The official Twitter account for The Wolverine posted a photo of Hugh Jackman as Logan, with the caption: “The past is always behind you, but the memories still remain.” It’s an interesting choice of words since Logan is known for having memories that are either unreliable or flat out aren’t there. But if there’s one thing that is for sure, it’s that Logan tends to cut and run whenever something affects him so negatively.

Hugh Jackman in X-Men: Days of Future Past
Hugh Jackman may have finished filming The Wolverine but playing the character is far from over. In not-so-surprising news, Jackman will reprise the role for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past. It makes perfect sense since Wolverine played a huge role in the graphic novel. A Days of Future Past without Wolverine would be very odd. -
Producer Teases Fans About S.H.I.E.L.D.
Producer Maurissa Tanchareon snapped a photo that she posted on Twitter to tease fans about ABC’s S.H.I.E.L.D. (that’s quite a bit of acronyms) which is being developed under Joss Whedon’s direction. If there was a thought that the show would scale things back to realism, it’s a thought that’s sorely wrong.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Begins Filming
The casting for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was completed with additional cast members; Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Jamie Foxx as Electro, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, and Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn. Director Marc Webb’s version of our favorite web-head is going to feel a lot more familiar with those characters joining Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker and Emma Stone’s Gwen Stacy. -
Chris Pratt Stars in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
Marvel Studios has completed their “Phase One” of films, and they’re most out there movie was Thor, which dealt with other worlds and gods. It ventured the furthest from realism, but do we really want realism in our comic book films? Well, aside from Nolan’s efforts with The Dark Knight trilogy. Now Marvel is continuing to push towards fantasy with Guardians of Galaxy.
