Apparently Steven Spielberg intends to bring back (reboot?) Indiana Jones. His ideal candidate to take up the mantle? Guardians of the Galaxy‘s own Chris Pratt. He is, of course, in Spielberg’s other franchise and upcoming movie, Jurassic World. It’s safe to say that Spielberg is enthralled by the man. Maybe.
Pratt definitely has the charisma — I was about to make comparisons to Harrison Ford, but we haven’t even seen Pratt act the part. Comparing Star-Lord to Indy is comparing apples to — yeah, you know where I’m going with it.
It’s a choice that I would enjoy, but I can’t help feeling a little disappointed. I’m a little bias — by which I mean very bias. I watch The Vampire Diaries. And I (along with many others) feel that Matt Davis would make a perfect Indiana Jones. Or Han Solo. Or any role that Harrison Ford has played. Davis is like a young Ford.
Nevertheless, I’m fine with Chris Pratt if he takes the part. He’s a joy on screen. And probably horrible in person. Absolutely horrible.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna watch Guardians of the Galaxy.
