At this point it’s not news that director Bryan Singer likes to share updates on film projects on his Twitter — more specifically, casting. One of his next movies is X-Men: Apocalypse. It’s a story arc I didn’t expect would get a film adaptation. Most likely a loose one, but still. It’s Apocalypse. A centuries old Egyptian mutant who sees himself as a god.
The Fantastic Four teaser trailer came out this week, showing a very much different version of the superhero family. The tone is more serious. A lot more serious than the previous films.
We’ve known for years now, but it’s still unbelievable that Marvel’s Ant-Man is closer to release in theaters. Starring Paul Rudd as Scott Lang (Ant-Man), Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym (Previous Ant-Man), and Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, the movie follows — oh wait, here’s the official synopsis:

Despite earlier reports, there isn’t an Iron Man 4. But fret not! Besides The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Robert Downey Jr. will reprise his role as Tony Stark in The Avengers 3. And he’s in talks to join the cast in some other movie tentatively entitled, Captain America 3.
