By now you have seen the trailer for the highly anticipated Captain America: Civil War — unless you’re Matt Murdoch wearing earmuffs.

Cue cheers of seeing Captain America and Iron Man finally going at it — unless you’re a kid who idolizes Iron Man — then cry out in horror at the end of the trailer. (Yeah, yeah. I’m a mix of the two.)

At this point it’s very clear that the film wildly differs from the comic’s story arc. I’m entirely fine with that. The films have always taken ideas from the comics and applied them to their own stories. Otherwise it’d be boring if it were beat-for-beat the same.

One of my favorite parts of the trailer (besides the beat down) is the glimpses of Black Panther. I wrote about him before; he’s gonna be a great addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The movie will apparently affect the MCU in a bigger way than Captain America: The Winter Solider. What that means, we’ll have to wait and see.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters May 6, 2016. And I really, really can’t wait.
