Phase One of Marvel’s shared universe concluded with The Avengers, and it left people wondering if Phase Two would ramp up the cameos and inclusion of more superheroes in the upcoming films. Rather than strictly sticking with the current lineup that gave Marvel success, the studio is carrying forward with additional superheroes getting the film treatment. The Marvel movie universe just continues to expand.
