Rise of the Planet of the Apes successfully rebooted the franchise with James Franco and Andy Serkis leading the charge. The movie gave a different take on the apes attaining their knowledge and how humanity’s numbers dwindled.

Bryan Singer Tweets Photo of James McAvoy as Xavier in ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’

I’m a little weary of Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past since it’s dangerously close to one of the third movie’s faults: too huge of a cast, which riddled the film with cameo after cameo. Nonetheless, my curiosity is still piqued.

She-Hulk Assaults Person in York
In York — no, not New York for once — a 17-year-old girl was assaulted outside a fast food restaurant. The assailant was described as looking like the She-Hulk, in green body paint and red hair.
The unprovoked assault was provoked by an uncontrollable rage from who is assumed to be Bruce Banner’s cousin, Jennifer Walters. The police and S.H.I.E.L.D. are on the look out. Banner has went into hiding yet again.

Megan Fox as April O’Neil in ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’
The remake of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has begun filming to much curiosity. And that’s putting it lightly. Most people aren’t too happy that Michael Bay is producing the remake.
But then again, the misconception is that he’s directing in some capacity and that we’d have another Transformers on our hands. The person actually directing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is Jonathan Liebesman, who directed Battle: Los Angeles and Wrath of the Titans.
The first set photos to hit the net is of Megan Fox as news reporter April O’Neil. She doesn’t have the familiar red hair, nor is she wearing the yellow jumpsuit, but she dons a yellow jacket that definitely gives an April O’Neil impression.

Luke Evans Gets Lead in ‘The Crow’ Remake
Near the end of April, actor Tom Hiddleston was in talks to star in the remake of The Crow. Eric Draven’s brooding-yet-playful attitude is comparable to Loki, which would make a smooth transition for Hiddleston. Unfortunately, he did not get the role.
Director F. Javier Gutierrez finally found his leading man in Welsh actor, Luke Evans.

Ben Stiller in Talks to Direct Robert Downey Jr.’s ‘Pinocchio’
Back in November, Robert Downey Jr. and his wife and producing partner, Susan Downey, showed interest in a film adaptation of Pinocchio. Another who showed interest was director Tim Burton, who I joked would throw in his whimsical style and his two lovers — you know who I mean.
Months later, Downey and Downey are officially involved in Pinocchio. But who isn’t involved is Burton; he passed on the project when Robert and Susan decided to go in a different direction with the movie.
