Director Marc Webb is busy filming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone reprising their roles as Peter Parker (Spider-Man) and Gwen Stacy. Joining them are Jamie Foxx as Electro, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn, and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn.
A lot of the sets for the sequel are in public places, so there’s plenty of opportunities for bystanders to take pictures of a shoot. For one shoot in particular, we see Giamatti’s Rhino facing off against Garfield’s Spider-Man.
The Amazing Spider-Man had the comedic one-liners of Spider-Man that was sorely missing from Raimi’s trilogy, and the sequel intends to bring more than just that. In a few of the photos released online, Spider-Man’s sense of humor continues with physical comedy; by pulling down the pants of Rhino and gloating that he stole something back.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 returns to theaters May 2, 2014.
