Yesterday a new promotional image for Marvel’s highly anticipated Iron Man 3 was released online. The new armor — which was unveiled at Comic-Con — is very different than the previous versions, but it’s been growing on me. There’s also the fact that it looks good in motion from the footage we were shown in Hall H.

In 2005, Peter Jackson and director Neill Blomkamp were set to film an adaptation of the immensely popular game Halo. It ultimately didn’t come to fruition and the rights reverted back to Microsoft. The possibility of a movie was not forgotten though.

World-renowned Korean sensation PSY recently tweeted a photo of himself with X-Men heartthrob Hugh Jackman. And as you can clearly see, they’re both brandishing Logan’s claws. The official synopsis for Thor: The Dark World was recently released by Marvel. And it’s no surprise that the main antagonist is the leader of the dark elves, Malekith, played by Christopher Eccleston. -
New Pacific Rim Poster and Graphic Novel
One of Guillermo del Toro’s top concept designers, Raul Monge, designed a retro propaganda poster for his anticipated epic, Pacific Rim. It definitely evokes the massive scale of the mechs the humans pilot in their war against the monsters that threaten civilization. -

Marvel sold film rights to different superheroes before developing their own film studio. Seeing how each property has become a franchise, there’s no way that the other studios would let the rights revert back or willingly give them back. But that doesn’t mean they’ll refuse to work together. -
Armie Hammer Possibly Batman in Justice League
In 2007 WB were in the process of filming an adaptation of Justice League of America. In the role of Batman was Armie Hammer, who was a surprising choice since he was unknown at the time. But as we all know, that movie didn’t pan out and we got Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins starring Christian Bale instead.
