It’s still unbelievable that Deadpool is getting a film adaptation – especially after the terrible fiasco for the character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. But here we are. And Ryan Reynolds is reprising the role. And he recently tweeted a photo of himself as Deadpool.
Because, you know, posting about The Avengers for the third time in a row is charming. This time, it’s about director and writer Joss Whedon’s insights into his second Marvel movie.

Just yesterday I shared the new poster for Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron. And now, Robert Downey Jr has shared a poster that shows off who we (by which I mean me) care about most: Tony Stark.
We’re getting closer to the release of Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron — so we get the reminder from a movie poster that is circulating online.
At this point it’s not news that director Bryan Singer likes to share updates on film projects on his Twitter — more specifically, casting. One of his next movies is X-Men: Apocalypse. It’s a story arc I didn’t expect would get a film adaptation. Most likely a loose one, but still. It’s Apocalypse. A centuries old Egyptian mutant who sees himself as a god.
Apparently Steven Spielberg intends to bring back (reboot?) Indiana Jones. His ideal candidate to take up the mantle? Guardians of the Galaxy‘s own Chris Pratt. He is, of course, in Spielberg’s other franchise and upcoming movie, Jurassic World. It’s safe to say that Spielberg is enthralled by the man. Maybe.
The Fantastic Four teaser trailer came out this week, showing a very much different version of the superhero family. The tone is more serious. A lot more serious than the previous films.
