I wasn’t too keen on the idea of Tomb Raider getting its own remake. But then again, I haven’t been much of a gamer for almost fifteen years now. (Oh god, I’m old!) So that probably has a lot to do with it. That easily changed though with the casting for the main character.

I mean the remake — not me playing video games again.

Alicia Vikander was cast as Lara Croft. That was enough to pique my interest. She was incredible in Ex Machina. If you haven’t seen it, you really should. What I’m trying to say is that Vikander is an amazing actress who can draw you into the characters that she portrays. She’s gonna make a badass Lara Croft.
