
Admittedly, I was a little worried about the third Deadpool film. I thought I wouldn’t enjoy the story, or how it brought Hugh Jackman back to the role of Wolverine. Logan was an incredible sendoff and goodbye to Jackman’s 20-plus year portrayal of the character. Turns out I was pretty wrong being concerned.

I’ll admit. I really enjoy terrible movies as much as incredible ones. There is an odd charm to them; the wooden acting, the cheap production value, and the lackluster cinematography. It’s just a joy to watch; along with the unintended hilarity. Maybe “charm” is the wrong word to use, but I digress.
For everyone who knows me, I obviously stan for Zack Snyder. I adore the cinematography in his films, but I do understand that his work is divisive. And that’s part of the reason why I enjoy his work so much. He doesn’t keep things safe or stay in his comfort zone. The guy likes exploring and experimenting. And it always sparks emotion and conversation. And to me, that is art.
