  • Fox Plans Multiple Marvel Films

    Fox and their Marvel creative consultant Mark Millar see The Wolverine as the beginning of their own version of Marvel Studios’ “Phase One”. And it doesn’t mean just the X-Men. Fox has the film rights to all the Marvel mutants and the intention is to expand past the X-Men. They went as far as comparing the upcoming film to Iron Man.

  • More Details on Iron Man 3

    Marvel’s highly anticipated Iron Man 3 is apparently packed with new elements and characters. Ben Kingsley is portraying the main antagonist the Mandarin, the Iron Patriot armor is making an appearance, and the film is influenced by the Extremis story arc. But it doesn’t end there.

  • 3D Conversion for Man of Steel

    Director Zack Snyder has been busy at work with his take on Superman in Man of Steel, starring Henry Cavill, and changes continue to trickle in. Warner Bros will give the film the 3D post conversion treatment.

  • Doctor Strange and Black Panther a Go for Marvel Studios

  • Jamie Foxx in the Sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man?

    The Amazing Spider-Man brought to life the smartass Spider-Man that many of us enjoyed in the comics. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone had excellent portrayals of Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, with an on screen chemistry that was more than evident.

    Pictures from The Wolverine are surfacing online, showcasing Hugh Jackman in the role he’s best known for. And best of all? They ditched the horrible C.G. claws from X-Men Origins: Wolverine and returned to the practical claws. Why they even went with C.G. claws for a movie is a mystery beyond me — anyway!

  • Teaser Poster for The Wolverine

    Fox is moving forward with advertising their not-quite sequel The Wolverine and released a teaser poster showcasing Hugh Jackman’s Logan in a familiar pose. It definitely depicts the rage that Wolverine is notorious for — which was lacking in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. And if there’s one thing that Logan should emote, it’s an anger that he can barely contain.

  • X-Men: Days of Future Past Loses Director

    X-Men: First Class was a huge surprise to me and many others with how well it turned out. The cast of characters felt randomly chosen and thrown together despite their actual ages in the comics. Regardless, the casting was inspired, and director Matthew Vaughn brought together a well-made comic book movie that rekindled moviegoers affection for the X-Men. So it came as a shock when it was announced that Vaughn has dropped out as the director of the sequel.
