Marvel’s highly anticipated Iron Man 3 is apparently packed with new elements and characters. Ben Kingsley is portraying the main antagonist the Mandarin, the Iron Patriot armor is making an appearance, and the film is influenced by the Extremis story arc. But it doesn’t end there.

We’ve all seen the trailer for Iron Man 3, and we know Tony Stark’s mansion gets blown up, along with his garage full of armors. But what we didn’t know is that Stark has an underground hall of Iron Man armors previously unseen. According to a Marvel executive, there’s at least 16 armors, some of which are designed classically like the comic’s.

That’s not all. Since Comic-Con, people have been curious if Gwyneth Paltrow’s Pepper Potts would don her own armor as “Rescue”, and it’s now known that Pepper Potts will at one point wear her own version of the armor in the movie.

There’s evidently going to be a lot going on in the third film, but I can’t say I’m worried. Shane Black is a proven screenwriter and director. And he has great chemistry directing Robert Downey Jr. Just check out Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
