The title X-Men: Days of Future Past is looking more and more like a meta title. First, the director of the first two X-Men flicks, Bryan Singer, is back on board, and now? Singer took to Twitter to inform fans that Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are reprising their roles as Xavier and Magneto. Don’t worry, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender are still in; there’s just some time traveling going on.

Phase One of Marvel’s shared universe concluded with The Avengers, and it left people wondering if Phase Two would ramp up the cameos and inclusion of more superheroes in the upcoming films.
