It was safe to assume that Fox would abandon the Fantastic Four property after its lackluster performance in the box office. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the case. Okay, maybe not unfortunately; just maybe. Matthew Vaughn, who brought us X-Men: First Class, is on board as the producer for the reboot of Fantastic Four. Josh Trank of Chronicle has joined to direct.

The Wolverine Photo Tweeted
The official Twitter account for The Wolverine posted a photo of Hugh Jackman as Logan, with the caption: “The past is always behind you, but the memories still remain.” It’s an interesting choice of words since Logan is known for having memories that are either unreliable or flat out aren’t there. But if there’s one thing that is for sure, it’s that Logan tends to cut and run whenever something affects him so negatively.

Hugh Jackman in X-Men: Days of Future Past
Hugh Jackman may have finished filming The Wolverine but playing the character is far from over. In not-so-surprising news, Jackman will reprise the role for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past. It makes perfect sense since Wolverine played a huge role in the graphic novel. A Days of Future Past without Wolverine would be very odd.

Producer Teases Fans About S.H.I.E.L.D.
Producer Maurissa Tanchareon snapped a photo that she posted on Twitter to tease fans about ABC’s S.H.I.E.L.D. (that’s quite a bit of acronyms) which is being developed under Joss Whedon’s direction. If there was a thought that the show would scale things back to realism, it’s a thought that’s sorely wrong.
