I’ll admit that I didn’t read American Gods until last year. Whenever I looked for book recommendations, Neil Gaiman’s name would pop up. But for some reason I never read his work. I’m not sure why. On a chance I read one of his essays online. It’s easy to sum up as captivating. So I went ahead and bought the novel.

BBC Releases ‘Doctor Who’ Teaser
We haven’t had a new Doctor Who episode since the Christmas Special, which saw the exit of Matt Smith’s Doctor and the entrance of Peter Capaldi in the role. And it was such a memorable entrance – unless you’re someone who is upset that the Doctor isn’t a young man anymore. Then again, it’s still memorable to you.

Martian Manhunter vs. Rocket Raccoon
It’s very easy making comparisons to Marvel and DC as of late. Marvel has created a shared movie (and television) universe for their growing cast of superheroes. DC is attempting the same, but introducing characters right away. They’re in the beginning stages, so any thoughts at this point is speculation or assumptions. -
Second ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Trailer is Out
The second trailer for Marvel Studios’ biggest gamble is out. Guardians of the Galaxy is shaping up to be the space opera of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With director James Gunn, they’re clearly going all out.

‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ will Reboot
Last week it was announced that Power Rangers will reboot on the big screen. It wasn’t much a surprise since it’s the 20th anniversary of the show. (Power Rangers is also in its special anniversary season.) -
Another ‘Justice League’ Member in ‘Batman vs. Superman’ Movie
We all joked that the currently filming Batman vs. Superman movie is practically a Justice League film; Ben Affleck joined as Batman against Henry Cavill’s Superman; Gal Gadot was cast as Wonder Woman. Now the role of Cyborg was officially cast as well.
