Official Photo Shows Green Goblin Vs. Spidey in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’

Dan DeHaan of Chronicle takes up the role as Peter Parker’s best friend, Harry Osborn, in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The fun part? He will become the Green Goblin and face off against Spidey.

Lucky for us, an official photo was released showing just that: Green Goblin crazed and keeping Spider-Man down. DeHaan looks like he’s channeling Willem Dafoe, which really is a brilliant idea.

I gotta echo a popular sentiment: Spider-Man’s new costume is absolutely glorious. It’s a perfect translation from the comics.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 charms theaters May 2. By “charms”, I definitely mean Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone.
