After watching the trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier around five times, I realized I should probably post it. So I watched it two more times.

Chris Evans is back as Steve Rogers, the legendary Captain America, along with Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson reprising their roles as Black Widow and Nick Fury. Joining them are Anthony Mackie as the Falcon and Robert Redford as S.H.I.E.L.D. executive, Alexander Pierce.

Captain America’s new costume is a step up from the version in The Avengers, although, at least in the comics, it’s his “super soldier” costume. Agent Phil Coulson must be heartbroken. Again.

The first movie had an Indiana Jones and The Rocketeer feel, but The Winter Soldier has a completely different tone; more of a political thriller, with an emphasis on “thrill”.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier releases in theaters April 4, 2014.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a trailer to watch again.
