Lex Luthor Might Grace ‘Man of Steel’ with His Presence?

It’s no secret that Superman’s nemesis in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel is General Zod, but it hasn’t stopped rumors about an appearance from Superman’s greatest foe, the handsome and intelligent Lex Luthor.

You would think the rumor would quickly be laid to rest since there’s no one cast as Luthor in the movie, but when you have someone like, let’s say: screenwriter David S. Goyer simply proclaim, “I don’t think anyone has ever confirmed that we haven’t included him,” the rumor is going to reignite.

It most likely means that Lex Luthor is merely a cameo or a mention in the film, so my speculation is within that realm. With that said, I sincerely hope with all my heart that Lex Luthor is the president of the United States in Man of Steel.

Superman returns (pun intended) to theaters June 14.
