Earlier we got the premise to The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Now we get to see the banner for the upcoming film, which clearly illustrates who Spidey has to face against. We initially thought Electro and Rhino are the villains, with the Osborns foreshadowing their psychotic ways. The poster proves that isn’t the case. Green Goblin will terrorize Spider-Man.
I’m a little surprised that Green Goblin will face Spidey in the film. I would’ve thought they would save him for the third movie. But then again, it’s not like there is only one Green Goblin. There’s also the fact that they really want to bring the Sinister Six on the big screen. Think of it as a reverse Avengers scenario. And with the villains having the common ground of OsCorp, it wouldn’t feel like a forced team up.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 releases in theaters May 2, 2014.
I can’t wait.
