Red Riding Hood has become a movie. Well . . . sorta. Director Catherine Hardwicke seems to be a one trick pony with this effort: changing the Little Red Riding Hood story into a Twilight knockoff. Seriously. Just look at the trailer. And it’s just too bad, because it has a good cast. The potential is wasted.

I was really looking forward to seeing what Catherine Hardwicke could do with this story. After seeing the trailer, I can only hope that the trailer is not a good representation of the movie. It really does look like a Twilight knockoff. And maybe she had that in mind considering she cast the actor who was the runner-up to play Edward Cullen, as the romantic interest in Red Riding Hood. I have to agree with you on this one…potential wasted.
