• New Show Revolution by Eric Kripke and J.J. Abrams

Show creators Eric Kripke of Supernatural and J.J. Abrams of Lost have become a collaborative force behind a new show written by Kripke, entitled Revolution. Abrams will produce with his company Bad Robot.

    Excited yet?

    That’s a rhetorical question — of course you’re excited!

In usual fashion, Abrams is remaining quiet about the premise for the new show, only sharing that it’s an epic adventure thriller.

Here’s an interview with J.J. Abrams about the collaboration with Eric Kripke on Revolution.

Now have Misha Collins star in it and I’m in. All in. Oh, who am I kidding? Regardless of who will star in it, I’m really stoked to see their collaboration come to fruition.

  • Photo From Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters

A photo was released by EW for the movie Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. And it has a Van Helsing vibe to it, which should play the campiness quite well. After all, the film is an action horror comedy starring Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton as Hansel and Gretel. Not to mention, Famke Janssen plays the leader of the evil witches.

  • Ricky Gervais to Yet Again Host the Golden Globes

You would think the Golden Globes learned its lesson the last time Ricky Gervais hosted and gleefully roasted celebrities left and right. But no. They didn’t. They instead invited Gervais to host the 69th Golden Globes Awards — I can already see a vulgar joke right there. And yes, it’s official that the man will host for the third time.
