• Pacific Rim Gets 3D Treatment

    Guillermo del Toro’s epic known as Pacific Rim is going to clearly be one hell of a visual endeavor; with huge monsters and mechs fighting it out for the future of mankind. The director is known for his visual flair with Hellboy and Pan’s Labyrinth. Despite aesthetics being one of his strong points, del Toro had no intention of incorporating 3D into Pacific Rim.

  • Joss Whedon’s Much Ado About Nothing Gets Distributor

    Rather than jump right into another blockbuster film, director and writer Joss Whedon quietly went to work on his small budget movie, Much Ado About Nothing. After screenings, Lionsgate picked up the distribution rights for the Shakespeare adaptation.

    The trailer for Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters is out now, starring Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton. The feel has a combination of Brothers Grimm and Van Helsing. Frankly, I find that enjoyable.

  • Pilot Episode for Revolution Online Now

    NBC has confidence in their new show Revolution and it’s hard not to see why. It was created by Supernatural creator Eric Kripke, produced by J.J. Abrams of Lost, and directed by Iron Man director Jon Favreau. Those aspects alone should pique interest.
