Production for Marvel’s Iron Man 3 was underway earlier this week in China. To publicize the moment, a photo was taken of Iron Man and actor Wang Xueqi, who plays Dr. Wu in the movie. It’s a bit odd seeing the armor that took a beating from Thor and the Helicarrier, since Tony Stark is all about constant progression. But who knows? Aside from anyone involved in the film, of course.

Dylan McDermott Cast in Stephen King’s Mercy
I didn’t realize what I was missing until I finally watched American Horror Story recently. And by “watched” I mean I binged through the first season in one night. It was twisted, captivating, and of course, horrific. Actor Dylan McDermott displayed acting skills and a look that fit perfectly in the horror genre — how many times can I say “horror”?

I’ve been very curious on Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim since it first came to light. The man is known for his keen eye for visuals, so the thought of an epic monster vs. mech live-action movie piques a lot of interest.

A teaser for the Halo fan film entitled The Fallen is making rounds online. Vertical Horizon Pictures is hard at work in post-production, but you can already see the hard work being put into the project.
I’m very interested to see the final product — not to mention, two of my friends are acting in it.
What I’m trying to say is watch the teaser and follow the filmmakers’ YouTube for further updates and videos. Tell your friends![/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]

Yesterday the trailer for Disney’s The Lone Ranger released online. It stars Armie Hammer, who I enjoyed in The Social Network, and Johnny Depp, who I enjoyed in — well, anything but a Tim Burton directed movie.
To make this as concise as possibly: watch the trailer. The film looks immensely fun.

The much anticipated trailer for Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel hit the public eye today. And speaking of “eye”, the film is looking visually stunning, which is a given with Snyder directing. The trailer makes it clear that it’s taking Superman in a different direction than the prior films, but keeps the inspiring awe that captures Superman so well.
I’m more of a Batman fan, but I must admit — and it pains me to say it — I’m very much looking forward to Man of Steel.

Martin Sheen Returns for The Amazing Spider-Man 2
In every classic Spider-Man story, Uncle Ben dies and becomes the catalyst for Peter Parker’s journey towards heroism. With The Amazing Spider-Manit was easy to assume that actor Martin Sheen fulfilled his role as Uncle Ben. Surprisingly — or not so surprisingly — that isn’t the case.

Jumanji to be Remade
In 1995, Chris Van Allsburg book Jumanji was adapted as a movie, starring Robin Williams and Kirsten Dunst. The two portrayed characters who played the supernatural board game that brought to life the fate of each roll of the dice. It was a memorable family comedy. In fact, I would look at you oddly if you haven’t watched the movie.
