  • Felicia Day Returns to Supernatural Again

charliebradburryActress Felicia Day found herself in a unique position on Supernatural, where any character who doesn’t have a direct impact on the plot gets killed. Her character, Charlie Bradbury, is still alive and LARPing. Guest starring in two episodes was not enough. She will make another appearance this season, and this time she’s bringing a case to the Winchesters.

I normally don’t watch TV — unless it’s Supernatural or The Vampire Diaries  — so quick promos for a show entitled Cult recently caught my interest. They showed something creepy, then a quick monologue by actor Robert Knepper, who played a brilliant antagonist in the final season of Heroes. He portrayed the part with a dangerous charisma that fits perfectly with the cult leader he plays in the Cult promos.

zombielandIn 2009 a unique movie called Zombieland hit the theaters with biting humor towards zombie films. The writing was witty, and the movie had a cast who had brilliant comedic timing. It had a self-contained story and didn’t feel like it needed a sequel. Regardless, there were attempts.

But there’s one problem: Mina is reincarnated as a medical student named . . . you guessed it! Mina. So obviously romance blooms and puts a damper on Grayson’s plans.

  • Possible The Vampire Diaries Spinoff

theoriginalsThe Vampire Diaries is a surprisingly brilliant show on the CW. Yes, it starts off as what you’d expect from the name, but after around seven episodes, it becomes something much more. The romance takes a backseat to the plot, it becomes an ensemble, and the story moves forward at a breakneck speed. It’s refreshing. I can’t help but give The Vampire Diaries my praise.
