The final scene in The Avengers was the reveal of the mad titan, Thanos. It caused speculation to run wild on when Marvel’s big bad would wreck havoc in the film universe. First it was thought he would be the antagonist in The Avengers 2, but then Marvel Studios revealed their “Phase 2” of movies.

I’d apologize for the consecutive posts on Thor: The Dark World, but let’s face it: it’s very exciting to see what Alan Taylor, the director for Game of Thrones, has done with the second Thor movie.

I’m especially keen on the very last scene in the trailer. I’m sure many others also feel the same.
