The remake of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has begun filming to much curiosity. And that’s putting it lightly. Most people aren’t too happy that Michael Bay is producing the remake.
But then again, the misconception is that he’s directing in some capacity and that we’d have another Transformers on our hands. The person actually directing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is Jonathan Liebesman, who directed Battle: Los Angeles and Wrath of the Titans.
The first set photos to hit the net is of Megan Fox as news reporter April O’Neil. She doesn’t have the familiar red hair, nor is she wearing the yellow jumpsuit, but she dons a yellow jacket that definitely gives an April O’Neil impression.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles returns to theaters June 6, 2014.
I’m very much looking forward to it. It’s bound to be entertaining one way or another. Unless it’s like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III — then oh god, why?
