The Avengers: Age of Ultron had a plot that was ultimately forgettable, but gave us characters that are unforgettable and played a huge role in the MCU. We got Wanda and Vision, and the villain Ultron. Which eventually led us into WandaVision, and the ending of that TV show saw Wanda break off into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Vision absconding in an existential crisis.
Which leads us to VisionQuest.
The trailer came out a while ago for the new Marvel show — which I know, I know, I’m late posting this — but anyway! I’m feeling pretty optimistic about it. We see the return of Ultron, the role reprised by the great James Spader, evidently playing a big part in Vision’s psyche.
What more is there to say? Watch the trailer! Hopefully the show leans heavily into being a psychological thriller. Because I’m over world ending events. I want character driven stories. Like Wonder Man. Which you should also watch if you haven’t already.
