RoboCop was one of those movies that stuck with me from childhood all the way into adulthood. I was probably too young when I first saw it, but oh well. It was worth it. The moral of the story is: it was a damn good film that was ahead of its time.
Part of the reason that RoboCop was ahead of its time is because of the story. No, not the part about a murdered cop becoming part machine, but the sociopathic capitalism throughout the movie.
Anyway! You should check out this making of RoboCop. It’s really interesting. You won’t regret it. Then, of course, you should watch RoboCop, because why not?
