Marvel’s ‘Daredevil’ on Netflix

Marvel Studios is very busy; movies, television, and Netflix series. One of the new shows is Daredevil. It’s funny timing considering that Ben Affleck, who played the titular character in the movie, is now Batman. Anyway!

Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire) will portray Matt Murdock. As for his costume as Daredevil, gone are the red lenses for the eyes. Or anything for the eyes. The blind superhero will have a costume that blindfolds him. It’s a look from Frank Miller’s Daredevil: The Man Without Fear. It’s a good look. It gives a reason for his name. A man blindfolded beating up criminals and doing acrobats? What a daredevil. (It’s not like they know he actually is blind.)

Marvel makes its presence known on Netflix with Daredevil next year.
