The trailer to Joss Whedon’s version of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing is out. The obvious fun part — other than Whedon directing — is his cast. For example: Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Nathan Fillion, and Clark Gregg. You’ll notice they all come from previous works that Whedon helmed; Buffy, Firefly, and The Avengers. I also wanted an excuse to name-drop.
The movie was filmed over a 12 day period at Joss Whedon’s own home. It’s a brilliant way to keep the budget in check. God knows how much Fillion was asking for. By which I mean it seemed more like a hobby than work for Whedon and co.
Much Ado About Nothing releases June 21.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
