Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World is currently filming, which means photos from set are circulating online. Director Alan Taylor definitely had influence on the costumes, seeing as how both Chris Hemsworth’s new Thor costume and Chris Eccleston’s Malekith’s has an obvious Game of Thrones vibe — in case you didn’t know, Taylor directed a number of the show’s episodes.
I enjoyed Thor and its Shakespearean influence, but I’m more than okay with Taylor throwing some Game of Thrones into the mix. It just fits.
