Changes are occurring for the CW’s successful show Supernatural. Co-showrunner and writer for the series, Sera Gamble, has decided to step down from her position with Robert Singer. Replacing her as co-showrunner with Singer is Supernatural veteran writer Jeremy Carver.

Carver is possibly a brilliant replacement for the series. He’s written some of the most memorable episodes, such as A Very Supernatural Christmas and Changing Channels.

There’s been no news about Supernatural gaining another season, but with Carver becoming a co-showrunner, it’s basically a given that the series will continue forward. After all, the show seems to be on the brink every time despite being one of the CW’s highest rated shows.

I’m stoked by the change and the assumed renewal. There’s still a lot of mythology they can bring into the show. And Carver has the creativity to make it happen.
