There’s a rumor going around that studio executives at Sony apparently hate Marc Webb’s reboot of The Amazing Spider-Man. The rumor also eludes to the movie being nuanced and character heavy. And we all know most suits would rather have a film straight forward and action oriented.
So we know what this means, right? There’s a strong chance that we have something special here. After all, it’s a rarity when studio suits make decisions that audiences agree with.
The Amazing Spider-Man hits theaters July 3 — and will most likely prove suits wrong. That is, if the rumor is true.
