There’s more casting news on Marvel’s Iron Man 3. Actor Guy Pearce is in final talks with the studio for the role of Aldrich Killian, a character who had a huge impact on Tony Stark in the comics.
It’s reported that the third movie will take inspiration from Warren Ellis’ Extremis story, which introduces nanotechnology. And of course with Tony Stark’s inherit need for being on top of technology, adapts it into his Iron Man designs.
Where does Aldrich Killian fit in? He’s the creator of nanotechnology in Extremis.
I can see Pearce in the role, especially after his riveting viral video for Prometheus, showcasing him as a passionate businessman in technology.
