warmachineironpatriotThe sequel to the incredibly successful Marvel movie, The Avengers, has the team returning with newcomers Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). Tony Stark’s BFF was missing from the first film, but Bruce Banner was an excellent rebound. But now it looks like there will be some awkward romance, with Don Cheadle’s James Rhodey officially in The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

By awkward romance, I mean I’m stoked that War Machine will finally be an Avenger onscreen — since, you know, he’s an Avenger in the comics. We can be sure that Bruce Banner will be relieved that someone will keep Stark occupied from prodding and bothering him with life stories. Then again, Stark loves an audience.

Now I’m really looking forward to Stark and Rhodey arguing over who has the bigger guns, while Thor flexes in the background.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron unleashes in theaters May 1, 2015.
