One of Guillermo del Toro’s top concept designers, Raul Monge, designed a retro propaganda poster for his anticipated epic, Pacific Rim. It definitely evokes the massive scale of the mechs the humans pilot in their war against the monsters that threaten civilization.
There was also an announcement that a graphic novel detailing events before Pacific Rim will be released, written by screenwriter Travis Beacham.
The unfortunate thing is that Pacific Rim will not hit theaters until July 12, 2013. It’ll be a long wait, but all signs point to it being worth it. After all, this is by the guy who did Pan’s Labyrinth and Hellboy.
