It was — as many would guess — a huge blow to the action genre. It was years later when he returned to film in merely a cameo in The Expendables and his likeness used in Terminator Salvation.

Disney released an official photo of Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln in — you guessed it: Lincoln. The man really does disappear in a role. And if Day-Lewis portraying Lincoln isn’t enough, the movie is directed by Steven Spielberg.Oh, and just to throw it out there: Joseph Gordon-Levitt is also in the movie as Robert Todd Lincoln.
Lincoln is slated for release November 9.

Marvel’s The Avengers not only ruled the summer box office but became one of the biggest movies ever. And why wouldn’t it be? It was the first time superheroes from different movies came together under one title. It didn’t hurt that the cast was full of charismatic actors who clearly had a lot of chemistry together. We’re drawing closer to the release date of The Expendables 2, starring — well, you can easily see for yourself the stellar action cast from the past and present. And it really shouldn’t come as a surprise that they’d end up with their own version of The Last Supper.The guns, alcohol, and skull are a nice touch.
