BBC’s Doctor Who is fast approaching its 50th anniversary special, The Day of the Doctor, so of course some trailers are appearing to pique interest — as if the addition of John Hurt and the inclusion of David Tennant wasn’t enough.
Marvel Studios was very ambitious when they released Iron Man, and revealed their intentions of starting a shared universe for their superheroes. More movies followed broadening the scope, and ultimately led to The Avengers.
We’ve known from the get-go that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. shares the same universe as all the Marvel movies. The first episode dealt with Extremis, which was in the plot for Iron Man 3. With Thor: The Dark World hammering into theaters this week, could we see some of that story finding its way onto S.H.I.E.L.D.?
