Steven Spielberg has been busy with his biopic on Abraham Lincoln. It stars Daniel Day-Lewis as Lincoln with Sally Field portraying Lincoln’s wife, Mary Todd. The movie is based on the biography Team of Rivals written by Pulitzer winner Doris Kearns Goodwin.

New Green Lantern Trailer Online

Warner Bros. released another trailer for Green Lantern starring Ryan Reynolds. In it, we get a better feel of the threat and more of an understanding of some of the characters. It includes a glimpse into Hal Jordan’s training as a Green Lantern.
I’m still hesitant on Reynolds playing Hal Jordan, but there’s room for character development into a more serious Jordan. Regardless, the film looks like a blast.
Green Lantern opens in theaters June 17, 2011.

Disney released a video clip from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides — which I must add, doesn’t include any spoilers — featuring Captain Jack Sparrow’s escape from a banquet.
I’m stoked for the film. It’s looking like a lot of fun.

Second Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon Trailer is Out
The second official trailer for Michael Bay’s Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon is making rounds online. The Autobots and Decepticons are both featured heavily — and seeing Bay changing up how he shoots action scenes is a sight to see. There’s a lack of “shaky cam” and the pulled back camera angles showcase the action.
