    Much to the dismay of moviegoers everywhere, Paramount yanked G.I. Joe: Retaliation from its June 29 release date. The studio is not only moving the release date to March 29 of next year, but they’re also converting the film to 3D.

  • Star Wars TV Show News

    Infamous producer Rick McCallum recently announced that the planned Star Wars television show (not The Clone Wars) is still underway and is entitled Star Wars: Underworld. As long as Lucas keeps out of the creative process, it should actually be good, right?

  • Breaking Bad: Final Season News

    AMC announced that its critically acclaimed show Breaking Bad will premiere July 15 for its fifth and final season. There’s one odd thing though: the season is split in two, with eight episodes this summer and the last eight airing on AMC next summer.

    The teaser trailer for the latest James Bond flick, Skyfall, has hit the web. The cinematography certainly pulls you in.

    Aside from the “beer controversy”, I’m stoked for the movie. I really like Daniel Craig in the role. Now just make the man as charming as he is in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

  • Highlander Remake with Ryan Reynolds in Talks

    Highlander is the next movie up for a remake — which I’m entirely okay with. A film dealing with immortals should also refuse to die. But there’s one thing that’s leaving me feeling pessimistic about the remake, and it’s the man who’s in talks to star.

  • Blade Runner Sequel is On

    When Ridley Scott said he wants to continue filming sci-fi movies, he really meant it. His next project will revisit his 1982 film, Blade Runner. And it’s already looking like it’ll get the same treatment as Alien had with Prometheus.

    The CW is trying to fill in the gap left by Smallville and may possibly have found a replacement in their new show, Arrow. The series stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow.
