A small film known simply as V/H/S has quietly been making rounds in the movie circuit and on Netflix. V/H/S is a collection of found-footage shorts, with one story used to present the others, formatting it as a horror anthology.
NBC is putting a new spin on Dracula with their new show; it’s taking Bram Stoker’s Dracula and putting him in 1890s London, posing as an American entrepreneur named Allen Grayson. He intends to carry out revenge against those who ruined his life centuries ago, while bringing “modern science” to the Victorian era. But there’s one problem: Mina is reincarnated as a medical student named . . . you guessed it! Mina. So obviously romance blooms and puts a damper on Grayson’s plans.
Despite the lackluster Terminator Salvation and the cancellation of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, the franchise continues forward. After a few hiccups, the new film in development picked up two screenwriters with different backgrounds.
Actor Dylan McDermott has been keeping busy after the success of American Horror Story. He was cast in the starring role for indie thriller, Freezer. Mikael Salomon of HBO’s Band of Brothers will direct.

Joss Whedon’s new television show S.H.I.E.L.D. sparked a couple debates on when it takes place. Naturally, it was thought that it’s after the events in The Avengers, but the inclusion of Clark Gregg’s Agent Phil Coulson made some think otherwise.

As everyone knows by now, Disney purchased Lucasfilm and gained the rights to the Star Wars franchise. Along with film, Star Wars has tapped into video games and an animated series. But what hasn’t been done yet is a live-action television series. Disney intends to bring that to fruition.
